Terms & Conditions

Prices

All goods will be invoiced at prices ruling at the date of despatch. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. All prices are net of any discount.

Carriage and Small Orders

All orders over £30.00 (inc VAT, net of discounts) are delivered free of charge to UK destinations with the exception of offshore islands, Northern Ireland and parts of Scotland. Orders under £30.00 (inc VAT, net of discounts) are subject to a small order handling/carriage charge of £1.60 (inc VAT). Delivery to be in accordance with instructions but no liability will be accepted for loss through delays however caused.

Cancellations

Notifications of a cancelled order shall only be valid when given in writing and agreed by Meda Pharmaceuticals Ltd. If written notification is received Meda Pharmaceuticals Ltd reserves the right to charge for cancellation up to 25% of the amount of the order (inc VAT, net of discounts).

Title of Goods

All risk in the goods shall pass to the buyer but the beneficial title of goods does not pass to the purchaser until payment in full for the goods has been received by Meda Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Until the date of such payment the buyer will hold the goods in a fiduciary capacity for Meda Pharmaceuticals Ltd that in the event of prior resale Meda Pharmaceuticals Ltd shall be entitled in law and equity to the proceeds of such sale or on any claims for the sale. The buyer shall at the request of Meda Pharmaceuticals Ltd’s request store the goods in such a way that they are clearly shown to be the property of Meda Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

Goods

All orders for goods are accepted subject to the availability of raw materials, components and labour.

Claims for Damages and Shortages

All claims should be made in writing within 3 working days of receipt of goods which allows us to make a subsequent claim on our carriers. Claims after this period may not be accepted. Goods should not be returned without prior authorisation.

Liability for Shortages

The liability for shortage, failure or defect of the goods supplied shall be limited to the cost of making good any such shortage, failure or defect. We will not accept any consequential losses.

Non Account Holders

Goods can be supplied on cash, cheque, against a proforma invoice with any order or by credit or debit card.

Dispute

If a dispute should arise, all matters concerning the contract are to be construed according to English Law. If goods are subject to any dispute or have been tendered for or delivered but not paid for Meda Pharmaceuticals Ltd may require the dispute to be referred to arbitration. The arbitration of a person should be mutually agreed on, or failing such agreement at the request of Meda Pharmaceuticals Ltd a person will be appointed by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and should be made within 14 days of both parties being aware of the dispute.

Acts of God

All quotations, products supplied and contracts entered into are free of all liability, which may be caused by circumstances beyond the control of Meda Pharmaceuticals Ltd, including Acts of God, Fire, Government control, Accident, Strikes, Lock outs and other similar circumstances.
